Many thousands were arrested for trivial crimes and herded into the basement of the Lubyanka building where they were shot 5 at a time. The woman in this scene is trying desperately to save her son by offering her daughter.

to BeardedBob : Фильм Чекист 1992 года. Фильм про эпоху красного террора 1918-1922. Фильм про будни ЧК (чрезвычайная комиссия, очень жестокая политическая полиция). С художественной точки зрения фильм слабый. Сейчас этот фильм забыт. Скорей всего у этого фильма нет перевода.
